Do I get gratuity if I resign?
Under the 2021 law, yes. Once you complete one year, resigning no longer reduces gratuity the way it did under old unlimited contracts.
When must it be paid?
Within 14 days of your employment ending.
Does it apply in DIFC or ADGM?
No. Those free zones have their own employment laws and schemes.
